Trivia: The octopus behind the bar in Harryhausen's restaurant has only six legs. This is a reference to It Came from Beneath the Sea (1955), a film in which Ray Harryhausen created an octopus with six arms due to budget restrictions.

Goofs: Continuity: When Waternoose congratulates Sully on an 'impressive display' of scaring, different shaped monsters are just coming in to shot to walk past behind Sully. The shot cuts to Waternoose and then back to Sully in just a couple of seconds and the monsters behind him have gone.
